Some of the statistics above are predominantly related to our initial flagship Montreal release, just prior to our national expansion starting in mid-2019, as the COVID crisis interrupted our week-to-week efforts to grow traffic in 11 additional just-launched cities. As of mid-2021, traffic nurturing and growth in those additional cities needs to be re-started, in order to ramp back up to our original progress and projections. 

Pre-COVID (Q1 2020): 2200 active listings, 1400-1500 user sessions per week (average). 

Platform

Bizcocity.com is a SaaS developed on the Drupal CMS platform, with full user account management, granular user permissions controls, very robust backend and structured database with detailed reporting capabilities, geolocation user tracking, and the ability to handle high volume of user traffic and growth.

Key Features 

The site offers an engaging experience by providing visitors with many free features such as browse / search / sort current for-sale listings with full basic and advanced search parameters, view full details of listings, contact listing owners, view broker profiles, view any specific broker’s listings, create their own user account, and more. 

Logged-in users (those who have accounts) can create and update their profile, create and publish free listings, track views & performance of listings, save searches, edit preferences, enable auto-messaging & adjust user alert parameters, and much more.

Verified brokers also benefit from exclusive broker-specific features, and both Broker Agencies and Franchisors have the ability to create their agency profile, add multiple individual brokers under their umbrella, manage multiple broker offices and multiple agents per location, and streamlined listing creation. 

Having proven itself with business-for-sale listings, our platform is now ready to expand into listings of other property types, including commercial real estate.

Operational Efficiency

Current operations have been streamlined to the extent that a single full-time person could manage the entire set of operational tasks and responsibilities (although future growth may require more personnel). Any manual update processes that remain could further be automated through direct APIs, as has been the case with the Sunbelt Brokers, or via outsourcing to India for a much reduced cost basis.

Multiple Monetization-ready Revenue Streams 

Basic listings have always been free, thereby helping to grow our site to its current level. Our Premium Listings and Premium Brokers provide sellers with high visibility, and include highlighted top position in search results, featured placement on select regional homepages, enhanced lead generation coupled with target marketing, and more (these features were recently developed and are now ready to be activated).

On-site Advertising refers to our platform’s fully developed advertisement placement and ordering system for targeted banner ads and sidebar ads, including flexible regional and national advertising placement (targeted advertising for national and local brands / clients), and which can be tailored to ad agencies that represent many different clients.

Per our roadmap, we plan to expand into more regions thereby opening up additional opportunities for revenue. Bizcocity is able to offer Franchisors market expansion growth services, helping them reach new prospective franchisees in as-yet untapped regions.

We will also be launching our own Bizcocity as a Franchise Model in other countries, thereby adding licensing fees and royalties to our revenue stream (from USA and Global Franchisees*). 

Bizcocity is uniquely positioned to become a data provider for publishers (eg. to become the backend provider of business for sale data to all Post Media properties, such as Montreal Gazette, Toronto Sun, Calgary Herald, Vancouver Sun, etc. to populate their classified section). Furthermore, we are potentially also in a position to eventually become an aggregate data provider for marketing agencies, strategic partners, and other interested stakeholders.
