Robert was actively searching for a business to buy but frustrated with the process and lack of professionalism of business brokers. That is until he came across a Sunbelt Business Broker who demonstrated an eagerness to help and responded with a very professional approach. Turned out not to be the business for Robert, but he was so impressed by the Sunbelt process, systems, teamwork, and track record, he decided to join the team and open an office in the Toronto North area.
Robert has now turned his focus and energy to using his experience and expertise to help small business owners build valuable companies and, when the time is right to sell, help them to find the right buyer.
Robert has over 25 years of experience in sales, marketing, management, and leadership in several industries and fields of expertise. His most recent position was the President of 2 companies with 143 employees, 5 offices, in 3 Provinces. He has been involved in start-up, early stage, mature, and turn-around companies as founder, owner, employee, and executive leadership, all in the small to medium size business world. This varied experience has given Robert a unique perspective and empathy that helps him in his mission to serve small businesses in Canada. Robert’s other interests include spending time with his family, Travelling, Golf, Skiing, Home Projects, Reading, and Learning.
