Ian is a 10+ year seasoned M&A Advisor and Business Broker, and over the years has completed transactions ranging from smaller Main Street deals to much larger Middle Market multi-million dollar offerings. He is a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), and has been presented with the International Business Broker Association's Outstanding Producer Award 2016 and 2017, and the Chairman's Circle Award for 2017, and will be receiving his Mergers & Acquisitions Master Intermediary (M&AMI) designation in 2018.A native of the UK, Ian arrived in Vancouver in 1988 and immediately became involved in the dynamic Canadian business world. While living in Canada, he has gained over 20 years experience working in electronics distribution, and supporting small to medium business enterprises. During this time, Ian worked in all facets of a multi-million dollar company taking on roles from Operations and Product Flow Management to Sales, Marketing, and finally senior management. Through his experience, and his role as VP International Sales and Marketing, Ian worked with teams covering three continents around the world and was instrumental in the sale of a major division of this business.
